Course Description

Presented by leading clinicians and researchers from the UCSF Memory and Aging Center, this program will provide an in-depth view of the neurodegenerative diseases of the brain, focusing primarily on Alzheimer’s disease, the most common neurodegenerative disease. We will discuss the diverse clinical manifestations of Alzheimer’s Disease, stages of illness, and current state of science regarding diagnosis, treatment and management of Alzheimer’s and other related diseases. Learn about the latest advances and the impact that these diseases have for each of us and for vulnerable populations of San Francisco and the world.
